You are stuck in a time loop as a detective in Oakmont, Massachusetts in the 1920’s United States. According to the description of the game ‘You are investigating a mysterious flood inundating the city, in the hopes of shedding light on the darkness that has seized the place and corrupted the minds of the inhabitants – and yours…’ Things appear upside down. A giant octopus (the Kracken) seems to kill you to restart the time loop. Every time, you become more and more like a squid. One time when you die you wake up in the trailer. When you blink two different eyelids you should not have come from the side of your eyes instead of both eyelids meeting in the middle. You find yourself in a sunken city and you have to help others, because they are more in need of help than you are.
